Meet Dave - congo's Founder 

After spending his early twenties working across London's construction scene, Dave Smith returned home to New Zealand to complete an NZCAD qualification at Unitec, graduating in 1995.

Dave spent the next decade working for some of Auckland's leading architectural firms, contracting on a range of projects including residential homes, multi-story apartments, schools, hospitals, and even aquariums.

In 2006, he founded Congo Design and carved a niche in commercial builds. He works across all aspects of a project, from the initial design phase to the final finishing touches.

Dave's vision is to create buildings that are engaging and sympathetic to their surroundings, and that provide a practical and productive environment for his clients.
