I advise developers, companies, trusts and individuals on their commercial and residential property matters, subdivisions, business sales/purchases, commercial leasing, trusts, wills and estates.

My experience allows me to offer clear, practical advice to my clients to achieve the best result for them.

I make sure that my clients clearly understand what they are signing and advise them on what changes should be made to better enable them to meet their objectives and to adequately protect them going forward. I then negotiate the changes required, focusing on the key issues and separating out what doesn't matter from what does. I really enjoy working with my clients to meet their objectives.

My clients tell me that I am thorough, efficient, good at explaining things to them in plain English and that I do a good job.

Examples of transactions in which I've been involved:

• Completing a subdivision which involved a number of consent issues. The traditional solution would have been expensive and would have required my client to obtain the consent of multiple parties (although those parties were not affected) to proceed. I found a different way to complete the subdivision by working with the Council and LINZ, saving my client considerable time and money.

• Advising on complex, multi-million dollar property sales and purchases, including completing due diligence investigations involving multiple commercial leases.

• Advising on sale and purchase of a business (share and asset sales), working through the due diligence process and negotiating new leases or variations and renewals.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, keeping fit, travelling, fishing/whitebaiting and snorkelling.
